Below are four illustrations that together tell a story. But what is the story? Children, young adults and adults alike can write me their story about what is happening in these pictures. New illustrations will be available each month so new stories can be written.

I encourage teachers to share these illustrations with their students; parents, grandparents and caregivers to share these with their children. Anyone, of any age, who would like to practice and improve their literacy skills, can participate by:
- Looking at the four pictures provided and create a story about what they think is happening in these pictures.
- Writing that story about the pictures, explaining what has happened from one scene to the next. Length does not matter.
- Mailing the story to me, along with its title, the writer’s name, age and address. For teachers, please have each student include this entry form with their stories. Please mail stories to my attention at:
- The Honourable Steven Point
- Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia
- Government House
- 1401 Rockland Avenue
- Victoria, BC V8S 1V9
- I will read each story sent to me and send an acknowledgement for participating in the program.
I look forward to receiving stories submitted by students, children and young adults from across the province. I would also like to hear your thoughts on the project. Please send me feedback at ghinfo@gov.bc.ca.
Please check back again soon for the next set of illustrations!
The Honourable Steven L. Point, OBC
Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia
