Lieutenant Governor's Statement on the
Death of Bert Oliver
VICTORIA – The Honourable Steven Point, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, made the following statement:
"I extend my condolences to the family and friends of Bert Oliver on this sad occasion. As a veteran, a dedicated public servant and a B.C. Superior Court Justice, he was a man who truly served the people. As British Columbians, we should all be thankful for his steadfast commitment to our province. He will be missed."
