Lieutenant Governor Hosts Outdoor
Concerts At Government House
VICTORIA – The Honourable Steven Point, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, welcomes the public to enjoy this summer’s Music on the Lawn concert series at Government House. These free outdoor concerts feature talented BC performers and increase the public’s enjoyment of both Government House and its surrounding gardens. The House will be open to the public before the concerts from 4:00– 5:00 pm for a walk-through of the public rooms.
The 2009 concert line-up is:
| 6 pm | Wednesday, July 8 — Naden Dixieland Band |
| 6 pm | Wednesday, July 15 — Clover Point Drifters |
| 6 pm | Wednesday, July 22 — The Politics of Dancing |
Bring your own blanket or chair for the concerts, and enjoy refreshments for sale on the grounds.
